The screen printing process uses a woven mesh (screen) to support an ink-blocking stencil to receive a desired image. The screen contains open (what will be printed) and closed (what won’t be printed) areas of mesh. A squeegee is moved across the screen, thus pushing ink into the mesh openings. As a result the image transfers onto the substrate. Screen printing is suitable for t-shirts, vinyl, wood and also plastic.
